Mom. Wife. Teacher. IB. GT. PL. 1:1 iPads.
I teach at an International Baccalaureate school in the heart of downtown Charleston, SC. I embarked on a digital journey four years ago when my school got 1:1 iPads. I’ve had some major flops, but some major successes, too. I’ve wanted to share what is working well in my room for a while. I received my Gifted and Talented endorsement last year and am a member of Charleston County School District’s EdTech Digital Cohort in year three: Transform. Finally, I am part of the Personalized Learning Cohort, working to encourage teachers to include student choice in their pace, path, and environment.
I feel like the edu-blog niche is pretty full but I’ve begged for, borrowed from, or flat out stolen some really amazing ideas from other teachers. Here’s what’s going on in my class.
Beg, borrow, and steal away!
